EYETEC MOTION SENSOR WITH SENSOR-FUSION AND ANTI-BLOCKING CAPABILITY

Sensor Fusion
The IR840T's unique combination of PIR and intelligent image sensing provides outstanding false alarm immunity and a level of security which was not previously possible.
This technology, known as Sensor Fusion provides the IR840T with wide range of information - the size of an object, it's position, it's time spent in that position, it's speed and direction of movement. By combining this information, the sensor can provide a previously unattainable level of detection and false alarm immunity.

Eyetec is able to distinguish between an object with human movement characteristics and swaying objects, such as plants or curtains, as well as small animals.


	Anti-Blocking The IR840T's image sensor is also able to provide a constant picture of the room and detect any significant changes which could represent an attempt to block its field of view. This unique capability makes the IR840T the sensor of choice for high risk applications.

Stores Images in Detector Memory
Images immediately before, during and after an alarm are stored in the detector's memory and can be retrieved for analysis.

Wireless Programming and Data Retrieval
The IRO AS infrared communication tool allows the installer to program the sensor remotely and retrieve images from the sensor's memory.

Area and Direction Dependent Detection
Specific areas can be excluded from the detection area, allowing these to be accessed while the remaining area is protected. The sensor may also be programmed to alarm only when movement is in one direction. Sensitivity can be adjusted to take account of different environmental and performance requirements. Four settings are available - high, standard, stable and harsh.

High Performance PIR Sensor Features
The IR840T includes Siemen's unique black triplex mirror, which excludes interference from visible light while maintaining a constant sensitivity at all distances from the sensor. A lookdown zone detects crawling intruders. Excellent RFI immunity, intelligent temperature compensation and optics sealed against air turbulence and insects add further protection against false alarms.

CMOS Image Sensor
Eyetec uses a CMOS image sensor with a high dynamic range and outstanding low light performance (<0.1 Lux) to ensure reliable detection in all environments.
