	Picture Surveillance System The BM series of picture surveillance products can be used to provide effective yet discreet protection against removal, moving or touching of wall mounted artwork, such as pictures, tapestries, masks and other artifacts. Any attempt to remove the picture is detected. In addition, the electronic versions of the sensors detect touching or moving the picture. Typically a support rail is installed on the wall, either surface or recess mounted. The sensors are mounted in the rail and the pictures hung from the sensors. The sensors can easily be moved to different locations within the rail to allow for changes in the exhibition. 	Showcase Surveillance Detector The DV451 is ideal for museums, art galleries and jewelers' stores. It protects a showcase of 0.1 to 2 cubic meters by detecting changes in air tightness and volume within the case. A loudspeaker and microphone are connected to the DV451. The detector's microprocessor constantly evaluates the difference between transmitted and received signals. If the measured change is consistent with an attack on the showcase, the alarm is sounded by the DV451's alarm contacts. Normal visitors' activities are ignored.
