Explosion-Proof Camera Housings

A complete range of explosion-proof housings, complete with sunshield and heaters, weather proofed to IP67, and certified to ATEX gas groups IIB and IIC, gas and dust. The housings come in 2 lengths (290mm and 420mm internal) for optimal suitability to commonly used camera / lens combinations.

The housing is designed to prevent explosions by containing any heat, sparks, or flames generated. This prevents potentially explosive atmospheres or materials outside the equipment being ignited.

Explosion Proof Pan-Tilt Units

The Phoenix pan-tilt range can be used together with the Phoenix housing range and is suitable for gas groups IIB & IIA e.g. ethylene and propane.
Phoenix pan-tilt units offer great pan and tilt control of cameras, with a pan-tilt speed of 5 degrees per second.

  • When side mounted, the 40kg load capacity provides optimum stability.
  • Available with presets as standard, Phoenix explosion-proof pan-tilts are ATEX certified to gas group IIB (when sold separately) and IIC (when sold as apart of the Phoenix Camera Head)
  • Options for gas Group IIB and IIC explosive gas environment
  • Suitable for use in hazardous dust conditions
